Frequently asked questions

When do the Sunflowers bloom?

OUR FIRST FIELD IS IN BLOOM! WE HOPE TO BE OPEN THRU EARLY-MID OCTOBER

Every year we are at the mercy of our lovely mother nature who is the ultimate decision maker when it comes to the sunflower bloom time. Usually, the sunflowers bloom the second or third week of August. We stagger our mazes to extend our season into late September to early October. Make sure to follow us on social media and sign up for our email list so you’re the first to know when the blooms are ready!

What Should I Wear?

We recommend wearing closed-toed shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty, it is a farm after all! Make sure you check the forecast before heading out and dress accordingly. There is absolutely no changing or nudity of any kind permitted in the fields or on the farm. We do have portable restrooms available.

Can I bring a pet?

While we know you love your pets (we do too!) to keep all of our visitors, animals, and flowers safe, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home for this adventure. You may see our friendly black lab out every once in awhile when we are not too busy, the farm is her home and she needs to stretch her legs sometimes. Thank you for understanding!

Can I pick the Flowers?

We have sunflower and dahlia cutting gardens available for those who would like to bring some of the magic home with them. We sell flowers by the stem or vase, and we have clippers for check out in the barn. Please only use clippers, picking the flowers damages them. We even have pre-cut and arranged bouquets at our flower cart on weekends! We ask that visitors do not pick or cut flowers in the maze as we want to keep it beautiful for everyone!
